Ditra Over Floor Leveler

Hello i poured self leveler in my bathroom yesterday over my heated floor wires.

Ditra over floor leveler.

About 110 square feet. We recommend unmodified thin set mortar on a floor that has been leveled with a self leveling product. I m interesting in hearing your thoughts before i begin my renovation. Ditra is a versatile product and can do more than just provide an uncoupling membrane.

I have a few questions i want to be clear on before i do anything. Any leveling of the subfloor must be done prior to the installation of the membrane. I will be putting ditra on top of it and 12x24 marble over that. My question is can i install the ditra over the floor leveler or do i put down another layer of plywood 1 4 first.

The subfloor is 5 8 t g plywood joists 2x12 on 12 centers. View full version. Can i use self leveling compounds over schluter ditra or schluter ditra xl. I used nova plan easy plus.

What do ya think. Ditra and ditra xl were designed and tested for thin bed ceramic tile and natural stone applications. It can be installed over a variety of substrates including plywood osb existing vinyl structural planks and concrete. My bathroom floor needs some floor leveler well a lot of leveler.

Ditra over self leveler. My initial thoughts include removing the existing finish wood floor then install ditra and modified thin set over the wood plank floor and lastly unmodified and ceramic tile over ditra. If i use a self leveler on my plywood subfloor which type of thin set mortar do i used to install schluter ditra or ditra xl.
